INSPYRD ANGELS PILOT STUDY

Rising Angels and Inspired Outcomes are pleased to announce a collaborative research project called Inspyrd Angels Pilot Study. The purpose of this pilot study is to assess & affirm that ‘trauma is an injury that can heal’.

Allen Kanerva & Inspired Outcomes is a coaching and training institute that specializes crisis intervention and the amelioration of adverse effects of trauma using a  brief, proprietary protocol. The protocol itself and the modalities used are evidenced based. In 3rd party research and in coaching delivery, the protocol has demonstrated very high efficacy and little to no recurrence. Please see: www.thetraumateam.com

Rising Angels are often challenged to fulfill their commitment to their clients because of unresolved emotional trauma. Twelve Rising Angel clients will enter the pilot study. Psychometric trauma evaluations, quality of life (physical health) and economic indicators will be gathered pre and post protocol delivery. All indicators and assessments will be conducted by independent 3rd parties.

“Having a methodology to heal trauma for our clients will be a game changer for Rising Angels. As a person who previously suffered intensely from trauma, this protocol is life changing! Ultimately, it will enable women to live fulfilled lives.” Katarina MacLeod, E.D.

The pilot study report should be released in 2025.

Rising Angels intends to then use the results of this pilot to expand and enhance its programs by obtaining additional funding streams for this therapy and therefore helping more women to live trauma free and reclaim their lives. We need your help. Please donate now! For more information contact katarinamacleod@risingangels.net

Our Mission

At Rising Angels, our mission is:

to bring education about commercial sexual exploitation to professionals and the public, and to provide supportive services and safe environments to women affected by commercial sexual exploitation, allowing them to experience physical, mental, social and spiritual restoration in their lives.

Based in the Greater Toronto Area, Rising Angels provides training, programs and support across Ontario.

How Do We Help?

We’re passionate about making anyone and everyone aware that commercial sexual exploitation happens every day all across our country, in your neighbourhood and in our neighbourhood. We do this by speaking to the public – young, old and in between – providing facts, statistics, and prevention tips so that each of you can become part of the solution.

We provide assistance to women who have been affected by commercial sexual exploitation, whether involuntarily, known as human trafficking or independently due to lack of choice. We support them when they are in crisis and on an ongoing basis through mentoring, coaching, and trauma informed counseling.

We offer training to service providers and front line workers. Our training seminars are specifically focused to ensure attendees understand the trauma that affects women who have been exploited in this way. The seminars are survivor led and include the use of our “Mending Broken Wings” resource manual.

We operate from an abolitionist stand. We believe that commercial sex is inherently dangerous and constitutes violence against women. We desire healthier, safer alternatives and a world where females are respected and valued as persons.
